- Received vehicle and inspected. Found current back up alarm disconnected. Tested wiring, found ring connector corroded. Measured voltage at connector, detected -5 volts DC. Removed corrosion from connector and terminal. Measured voltage again, found 12.15 volts, key on engine off in reverse. Installed wiring with dielectric grease to prevent further corrosion. Road tested vehicle, back up alarm system now functioning as designed.
