- Complete hookup and analysis on CAS machine 1. Confirm problem : Unable to verify EGR valve sticking at this time. 2. CAS machine : N/A 3. Computer codes : P0402=EGR flow fault 3.5 Mode 6 data: Fail – Info – Test ID $86. Valve tested at 16.822. Min is minus 32.768 to max 4.227. Test for stuck open EGR valve. 4. Visual test : N/A 5. Engine vac. @ idle : N/A 6. Engine vac. @ 2500 : N/A 7. Engine timing @ idle : N/A 8. Engine timing @ 2500 : N/A 9. Smoke test : N/A 10. Diagnostics : EGR system is currently operating properly at this time, possible sticking EGR valve 11. Confirm fix: No repair to EGR valve. Preformed fuel injectors and decarbon cleaning. Have not been able to duplicate EGR DTC. Has a slight rough idle. Cranking compression test results show all cylinders within 4% each other. Relative cylinder contribution shows cyl #6 = 18% less than the others. Recommends inspect #6 valve stem height , possible valve seat recession. Tire Pressure F= 30 R= 30
