Circuit #1140 at fuse Panel, no power at connection. Has power through fuse, fuse panel damaged from rodent urine. When power put through Circuit #1140, truck will start, locks/windows/interior/dash work. Has no oil pressure on gauge. Tail lamps/turn signals/brake lights not working in rear.     • Oil pressure harness chewed through, multiple areas of wiring to BCM, dash, fuse box, etc. chewed through. Recommend searching all shorts/incomplete circuits and repairing.
    • R & R fuse box as existing panel damaged & corroded with rodent urine.
    • Removed cowling/wiper arms, installed wire mesh screening over all access points that we could get to, to prevent reinfestation by rodents. Pulled blower box and cleaned heavy rodent debris and replaced the blower resistor as it had burn marks from being plugged up.

    • R & I components to allow access to oil pressure & oil level gauge wiring harness. Multiple areas repaired from rodent chews. Also tracing of wiring problems in stop/turn/tail lights, repair of wiring from rodent chews.

After re prime, a small leak was found coming from the fuel filter housing. Could hear filter sucking up air. Removed and replaced fuel filter housing, filter, and sensor. After repairs, tested for further fuel leaks or air in fuel, no leaks were found and no longer taking in air. Test drove vehicle, had no issues starting up, and vehicle did not ever shut off. Vehicle drives great and is holding prime.

    • During inspection noticed damaged wires on the top of the fuel tank. Need to lower fuel tank and check wiring. Removed Fuel tank from vehicle and inspected wiring. Found Chewed ground wire for lift pump. Soldered, spliced and heat shrinked ground wire back to lift pump. After repairs vehicle was test driven and no issues came up. Vehicle starts up every single time. Took vehicle to a steep inclined and shut it off half way up the incline. Vehicle started right up after letting it sit for 10 minutes. Vehicle was shut off again once we reached the top of the incline were it flattens out. Vehicle was re started after 10 minutes of being shut off and started right up. Vehicle appears to have no starting issues at this time.

    • Confirm Problem: Yes. Once we got vehicle into garage we scanned PCM for any codes current or pending. No codes found. No check engine warning lamp on. Checked for fuel and found air in the lines. Vehicle was able to start after priming fuel system. No fuel leaks found. Inspected air filter and housing and found rodent nest in air box causing vehicle to struggle and starve for air. Also found air filter chewed on. Recommend to replace air filter and to clean/remove rodents nest. Removed & Replaced air filter and also cleaned and removed rodents nest in air filter housing. Vehicle now starts up normally.

    • Inspected vehicle, removed door panel to get to master window switch. Back probed switch to read signals when switch was activated. Was looking for 12V battery voltage to activate window motor, found weak signals giving out 8V at times. Used power probe to supply power to window motor. Window motor worked normal; however, no power was received from master window switch. Replaced master window switch and tested windows. Windows roll up and down normally at this time.
    • Removed nest found in box and removed old air filter. Installed new air filter and cleaned surrounding area.
    • Removed old serpentine belt due to cracking. Installed new serpentine belt. Ran engine for five minutes. Checked belt, belt is secure. Test drove vehicle. Vehicle runs good at this time.

Diagnostics : P0700-TCM module request MIL, P0741-Torque converter clutch system stuck off. Removed transmission pan to inspect for metal, found lots of metal in pan. Transmission is failing, needs to be rebuilt or replaced. Customer declined repairs at this time 10.
